VALE OF GLAMORGAN COUNCIL AWARDS LAND CHARGES CONTRACT TO DEF
Through a competitive tender process involving a number of providers, we’re extremely pleased to announce that DEF Software has been awarded the contract to provide the Vale of Glamorgan Council with Local Land Charges software to meet the requirements of the Local Land Charges Act 1975.
The award covers the supply, installation and configuration of DEF's Local Land Charges and LLC Register modules coupled with data migration and support for the Council's corporate GIS solution, QGIS.

"With DEF already having an established relationship with the Council in terms of Planning, Building Control and Highways, we felt that our Local Land Charges solution would be a perfect fit with huge real time integration benefits. The Council had a tight deadline for implementation which provided us with an opportunity to showcase how flexible our Land Charges solution is."
The contract was formally awarded in February 2016.
